RESOUND! July 20th at Bakersfield College

 It is with great admiration for the talented young performers here tonight that I welcome you to Bakersfield College.
 
Our grand Memorial Stadium has a rich history at BC and was the first structure to be completed on our beautiful campus in the mid 1950’s. Over the years, we have seen numerous championship games, Potato Bowl games, track and field records, and life-changing graduation celebrations take place among these bleachers. Performances, like the ones we will see tonight, inspire us all to reach new levels of dedication, passion, and commitment for the pursuits of life that we love.

On behalf of the Golden Empire Drum & Bugle Corps from Bakersfield College, we welcome you to our community and to the fourth annual RESOUND DCI competition. We are honored you are joining us to celebrate the hours of hard work these students have put into the programs you will see tonight, and we hope you will share your appreciation with RESOUNDING applause. A special thanks to the staff and administration of Bakersfield College for working behind the scenes to bring drum corps back to Memorial Stadium. We hope you enjoy the show!
